As Lead Business Analyst, I spearheaded the development of the next-generation Marketplace Enrollment Application. I collaborated with the Product Owners to gather detailed business requirements and further refined them through brainstorming sessions with the development team.
Even though my role in this project was a business analyst, I proactively defined a vision and goal for the product, I identified the various features that are needed within the product to satisfy the needs of the business users. I employed business process flow diagrams to map out the implementation and design of the product.
Throughout the project, I led a team of 35 people and ensured the successful delivery of the Marketplace Enrollment Application, which went live on 11/1/2021.
I served as a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a front-end Agile team in Health systems. I demonstrated my expertise by collaborating with the Product Owner to develop user interface requirements and plan user workflow and interface designs.
My contribution was not limited to the team. I worked closely with the business analyst team to optimize the process of defining requirements by innovating JIRA templates that facilitated documentation organization. This improvement, in turn, ensured that all parties involved (Business, Product Owners, Development, and QA) could easily comprehend and utilize the documentation without any ambiguity.
I served as the Lead Systems Analyst for LPL Financial's Data Warehouse Consolidation project. My primary role was to comprehensively document the functionalities of various financial services Data Warehouses while assessing the challenges and potential solutions of prior consolidation efforts.
Moreover, I conducted JAD sessions with the team to find suitable design solutions, performed source-to-target data mapping for the consolidated data warehouse and managed and tracked user stories in JIRA. Through my efforts, we improved data accuracy and streamlined the financial services data warehouse consolidation process.
As the Lead Business Analyst for the Class Action Claim Processing System for Computershare Inc., I oversaw the development of a unified claims processing suite that satisfied the goals of multiple business lines, including Consumer, Securities, Antitrust, and Labor & Employment.
Working closely with business users, I conducted workshops to understand the current business processes across various platforms and created a target business model for a unified class action administration system.
I also coordinated with UI experts to develop a user interface design for the application using Axure. I set use cases and functional requirements documents for individual system modules. Finally, I facilitated coordination with an offshore development team to ensure functional requirements were clarified and addressed promptly.
